Green Ridgewood, formerly REAC (Ridgewood Environmental Advisory Committee), advises and assists the Village Council in long-range planning concerning environmental issues, identifies and anticipates environmental challenges, and researches and recommends sustainable solutions. Through its Green Team subcommittee, Green Ridgewood also manages the Village’s periodic submission to Sustainable Jersey in order to achieve and maintain the municipality’s sustainability certification.
