This book event is hosted by the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia Univeristy
This event will center around “THE POWER OF DESERTS: Climate Change, the Middle-East, and the Promise of a Post-Oil Era,” the new book by Prof. Dan Rabinowitz of Tel-Aviv University.
Prof. Steve Cohen of Columbia University will moderate a discussion of the role of the oil-rich countries of the Persian Gulf in leading the global transition to renewable energy.
In addition to Prof. Rabonowitz, the panelists will include Dr. Yochanan Kushnir, Lamont-Doherty-Earth Observatory, Columbia University, and Prof. Limor Samimian-Darash, Hebrew University.
